Best Practices for Summer Grilling

Are you excited about summer? So am I! Before you even consider lighting your propane grill, there are a number of things to consider for your safety and everyone around you. Here are some recommended best practices for summer grilling to help you get started.

  • Keep your grill at least 10 feet away from your house.

  • Keep children and pets away from the grill and up to 2 hours later.

  • Clean your grill regularly.

  • Check for propane leaks.

  • Keep decorations away from your grill.

  • Keep a spray bottle of water handy.

  • Keep a fire extinguisher within a couple steps of your grill.

  • Always turn on the propane, while your grill lid is closed.

  • Never, ever leave your grill unattended.
