Everyone's vision for fall is something different. Some have fond vivid memories of trees with every color of the spectrum. Some remember leaves piled high to jump into or leaf fights.
When I think of fall, I think of slips, trips and fall(s). Maybe that is just me, with nearly thirty years of property management experience. When you see these beautiful leaves on a beautiful Vermont granite walkway it warms your heart and makes you smile.
If the property owner does not remove them, he or she is allowing a hazard to exist. A good owner or manager will rid the leaves from the walkways by using a leaf-blower and placing them at least ten feet from the walk, so they don't return.
Take a few minutes out of your day to make sure your family, your tenants and any guests to the property are safe. No one wants to be sued or have a lawsuit filed against them.
